CAN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
Here at Headway Milton Keynes, we largely rely on our team of fantastic volunteers. We have been extremely lucky to run our sessions fully supported by volunteers so we sometimes may not have opportunities available. For any vacancies we have please send us an email!
HOW DOES FUNDING WORK?
Once we have recieved the referral and completed our assessment, the trial session will commence, after successful completion of the trial session and with permission, we will submit a funding application to the local council. The council will then complete an assessment and inform all parties of the outcome, if funded has been accepted, you do not need to do anything, if rejected, our staff will talk you through other options.
IS YOUR ORGANIZATION TRANSPARENT?
We aim to be upfront and honest from the get go, and pride ourselves on transparency. We will keep all parties informed of any updates and have a formal process for compliments and complaints.
HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION HELPS?
All donations made directly to Headway Milton Keynes are put back into improving the service, whether this is to buy new resources for our sessions or enable us to provide outings at a reduced cost. 100% of the money you donate will go back into our services. Just £20 a month allows us to host our social group!
